Just got my 2007 S4 Cabriolet with navigation. Since it doesn't have an ipod adapter I tried loading music onto a 2 gb sd card. I put about 80 songs on from itunes and converted them all on my mac into mp3 format by resaving them as a .mp3 instead of .m4v. When I put the card in the list of songs shows up on the screen but only about 5 of the songs will actually play. Anyone have the same problem or know how to fix it? Is there some sort of formatting I need to do to convert the songs so they work with Audi's system?

 

correction. most of my music from itunes was in .m4a or .m4p with a few that were already .mp3
I believe it is the songs that were already in the .mp3 format that are playing correctly. Do I have to do more than just resave the file into .mp3 on my sd card?

 

they must be mp3. you have to play with the way you organize the files...
