Even without an upgraded turbo, those Diesel's can still take a tremendous amount of boost. Granted the stock turbo probably won't last long, but I know EDGE makes some pretty aggressive ECU mods that really push those things to their limits.

my friend has an F350 turbo diesel with the Banks Big boss Bundle or some kit like that. it comes with a huge front mount intercooler, blow off valve, ECU upgrade with three settings, exhaust w/down pipe and a huge intake. he pulls a 13.6 sec quarter mile. i was just barely pulling on him until i got ROM-Tuned. Now i just bring the pain with out even sweatin' it.

 

The F-350 isnt all that fast. I frankly (and i can say this cause its one of my close friends, not a ford truck stereotype) think he isnt smart enough or he doesnt have the money for more mods. Last sept. i WASTED him in my dad's 325xi so im not worried at all.
