S4 vacuum hose location?

Default S4 vacuum hose location?

Can any one tell me where the vacuum line is located on the manifoldof a 2000 S4?

very hard to get at but its on the underside of the intake manifold, don't forget there are 2 manifolds ( intake and exhaust but I think your talking intake because its vacuum related

based on a 2000 s4 1.8T it would be in the middle under the intake manifold

It's a 2.7 not a 1.8 is it in the same place?

nope the 2.7 is a V6 so it will be under the plenum/intake manifoldand even harder to get to

oh great,[&:]can you give any tips, do I need to remove the manifold to get at it?

you could remove the intake manifold to make it easier but you have to consider gasket loss that means $$$£££ or you could try to get intheir to check and repair but not easy on the V6 and in most cases its a removal with new parts

best case scenario are new parts last a long time so you don't need to do it often same as the timing belt

hold up, there is no way your going to have to remove an intake manifold to get to a vacuum line. which vacuum line are you looking for? There is quite a few more than one
