I was told by one of the Audi stores that the rear window shade can NOT be used with the side curtain airbags. Why not?

Think about it.
If the AB goes off, the shades will become projectiles.
Then if Audi installed them, some one would sue Audi on getting hit in the head with a flying sunshade.

You can get the rear one. Or just tint the car.

It was the rear one I was told won't work. I am just going to tint though. Probably 15-20% all around.

Ok, I can read.[>:]

I can't see any reason it can't be installed. Unless the airbag is around the mounting area. You can always buy it, & install your self.

I don't want to put anything dangrous and get hit pimp slap by a sunshade it the airbag goes off. maybe tinting is the way to go. I kinda wanted to do both... but then again why? lol
