dont think understeer is as big of an issue as you think... its not a true 50/50 split and with a sway bar you can actually ahve a lot of oversteer.. With mine and i dont even have sway i have noticed this on several occasions...

That is true, and Hano had the tranny rebuilt, new final drive is 20 front 80 rear. So it may be ok to go a little crazy with the power. But we'll see I guess. I don't think he wants to dump the other good KO4 for new turbo's again. Money is an issue at this point.

what mott says is true. money is currently a big issue with me. this is why i'm hoping that i can get the driver side turbo replaced under warranty. cross your fingers.....

the place i got the ko4s provide warranty for them. it depends on what the problem is and if the guy who got the turbos for me can use the warranty to replace them. hopefully he can, otherwise this car will be inoperable for a loooooooooooong time....

where'd you get the k04's with a warranty, I'm thinking I have a blown driver side turbo also... more fun for me. The trans, motor, everything in coming out this weekend. So I may as well order all the parts to get it right at once.

Hano sorry to hear the news. Yours is one of the few cases I ever heard of a K04 blowing....if I remember correctly the other were due to some serious stresses. How many miles were one these? Needless to say I'm really curious what you find out. I had the opportunity to see Autospeed's GT25R car several months ago and witness a couple dyno runs.....amazing car, big money though, something like $13k for parts alone.

Good luck with everything....dedicated track car sounds awesome.

i'm not exactly sure where i got them from. a guy i know who used to own an audi shop got them for me. i think turbonetics or something like that.

there weren't many miles on them. maybe three or four thousand. that asp gt25r kit is awesome. i wish i had the money to do that right now. but for now, i'm just going to try to get this done so i can drive it again. i miss it a lot. and then we'll decide about turning it into a full track car later, because that'll cost money which i don't have either.... why did i have to get into a car that costs so much money for everything.... oh well.
