It's kind of between this or an m3 at this point. I like the looks of m3 exterior better, but I've heard bad things about BMW reliability/maintenance. Plus S4 is not as expensive and doesn't seem to have as much depreciation. I think the s5 (2 door) looks sportier than the current s4, BUT I'm not sure that I'd want to spend a whole lot moreand that's why I'm thinking of getting an 04-05 model....

wait for the s5 if you can, the s4 can be viewed on audis web site by first clicking on the A4 and then the s4 comes up along with the RS4.

The s5 looks sweet!! Just don't know if I want to drop the cash on it yet.

Any idea on price, I've read a few different starting prices. Will it weigh the same as the s4 or less?

The S5 is going to be a very nice car. It really comes down to whether you want the new architecture or the existing one. The S4 will also be available in the B8 platform, so you have yet another choice. No matter what you get, you really can't loose. They're all great cars.

50 to 62 grand... jeebus, I like my S4 a ton... don't get me wrong. But for that kind of cash, I would rather have a brand new Corvette and have 10 grand left over. I've owned two, a 1996 and 2006... and loved both of them. With 5 cars, only driving the Corvette RARELY I couldn't justify the 1250 a month for payment/insurance/personal property tax so I let it go last month.

i like having a 4 door sedan.... (that can out perform 2 door coupes) the s5 is going to be bad ***... just comes down to what this car is mostly going to be used for.... chauffeuring? or solo fun? either way you won't be dissapointed.... personally if i had the money i would go with the rs4...
