Default Squealing noise?

So im driving my b5 right. And i noticed a squealing noise that starts when i get to about 3 grand in the rpms. It feels like it doesnt have as much power as it did when i first got it. any ideas what this can be? Is it the timing belt or what?

i hope its not the t-belt squeeling, if so i prolly would have to be a frozen tensioner, and would probably wear throught the belt quickly. how many miles on it? serpentine belt? boost leak? tires breaking loose around a corner?

The car has 82k miles on it. Im not sure about the belt bc i just bought it last monday. It doesnt really break loose in the turns. It seems like as soon as i get past 3 grand it squeals. And it doesnt seem like it has the same power that it used to.
