I just unpacked my 3" Borla catback and notice that the exhaust tips are staggered about 1/2", in other words one of the tips is 1/2" longer.

Is that how it is supposed to be? I searched around for a little bit but couldn't see any clear pics. The picture on the Borla website shows the tips even (but says "actual product may differ from picture")

Any help from someone that owns this exhaust?

all of the dual tip exhaust (as far as i know) have that stagger to match the curve of the bumper for a tight OE look. its normal, even cheap SSAC does it.

 

i have a borla and yes the tips are staggered

 

they're supposed to be straight even, call them up and demand a refund!

 

Dammit it knew it....im going to lose at least 5 hp from this. Dang!
