Thinking about buying a S4, but...
I have a few concerns. I've read the sticky, but it doesn't answer too many of my questions.
For you S4 owners, what are the common problems with the S4 that you guys have noticed? I'm looking into picking up a new car at the end of summer, and the S4 is probably at the top of my list. Just trying to understand it a bit more.
Maybe I should introduce myself seeing as this is my first post. I currently own a '91 Toyota MR2 Turbo. I've owned it for almost 3 years now, and it's a great car, but I need something more practical. The lack of trunk space/passenger space/availability of parts, really makes life a pain for us MR2 owners. I will probably keep the car as a track car and have a S4 as a daily, so I'm not going to drop crazy amounts of money into it modding it.
Anywho... Great forum you guys have here. Hope you guys have the patience to answer my noobish questions.
Thanks!

uhmm first we need to know if u want a b5 or b6-b7 ...the b5 is a great car if maintained properley ...theres the 70k mile service, and letting the turbos cool will help reduce risk of blown turbos (hit or miss on the turbos they blow when they want) those are the major things ( of course you have the occassional wear and tear items too)but otherwise its an amazing machine (keep in mind any work on the egine usually requires the engine to be out ) .......the b6-b7 are v8 n/a engines which dont have many problems at all soo if your looking for a daily driver that your not gonna mod hop on a v8 ....but if u want to mod get v6 bi turbo
