Default Thinking of Changing the color of my S4

Right now I have a black 04' S4. I live in Santa Fe which is in the desert and I hate that I can't keep it clean. Im thinking of going with the arctic white...

What do you guys think?? Is it worth it or should i just trade it in for a white one....

your gonna spend some serious money getting a GOOD paint job..meaning done right...do not do a half *** job when it comes to paint cause not only does it look horrible it will not resell when your ready to get rid of it....so my suggestion is if you want a white go trade in.....

White is just as hard to keep clean.

If you really want another color, sell your car & buy the color you want, it's really the best way, unless you want to drop $5-7000 on a paint job.

It is hard to find a white one V8 S4 in these parts thats why I got the black one...Im not really fond of the rear end of the new body so I like the 04-05 body. Anyone know of any white V8 S4s on the market?

I agree with the sentiment, but I think the 5k to 7k number is pretty conservative unless you plan to do a whole bunch of prep work yourself. Going from white to black is hard enough, but to have it look good means removing everything to be able to paintdoor jambs, engine compartment, window trim, etc....and you want it all put back properly too.

FYI...although some think they're more "common" and therefore less desireable, a silver car does a nice job of reflecting heat and hides dirt well.
