Default TRANNY PROBLEMS

I only have issues getting theshifter into 1st and second.
First is the hardest and it is hard to get out of first as well.
Second is hard to get into as well but not as bad to get out of towards neutral
Does not matter if car is moving or not,
Once I push the gear lever into a gear, it engages just fine
Clutch is fully drepressed and i have tried pumping it... nothing
Have aligned shifter
The shifter is a bit harder to get into the 1-2 gear gate from the 3-4 gate then it is to get into the 5-6 gate.
Car has a UUC SS

Suggestions have been: Misailigned shifter... I have aligned it a few times
-Damaged external transmission linkage... strange because only 1-2 gate is affected.
- Damaged or jagged dog teeth on collar gear. If this were the case then would it be this hard to get out of a gear as well?

Any info you can add or questions that would help the diagnosis would be great... I hope I don't need to rebuilt my tranny but it isn't looking too good for me.[&:]

I sympathyze - having just gone through clutch problems myself...maybe its the springs in the clutch plate - just like my problem - I had some of your symptoms - but more was just slipping when in gear. Still very hard to get into reverse and sometimes other gears as well...at least now that I have a new one its so much smoother! Good luck...

Thanks again for response... I don't think its clutch, as the car does not slip at all when in gear and once i get in gear, the clutch engages well when i release it. ANY OTHER IDEA WELCOME

I had same problem with first and second, turned out to be my motor mounts were shot to shizzz, the problem happened for like 2 days and then it went away but a week later i went and got everything replaced and hasnt happened since.

Just my experience and suggestion. dont ask me why only 2 gears would be affected tho o.O

My motor/ Tranny mounts are only 8k old. The other day I had to jam it into gear and the shifter went limp. It will now slide into every gear position but will be able to slide all the way back and forth horizontaly. Whatever gear I think i slide it in. it feels like im in a really high one when i start rolling. I had to get it towed because i coudlnt get reverse... I got it to a tranny shop so well see what they think[&o]
