Default Turbos

These ones looks pretty good and arent that much. All you have to worry about now is labor.

are you looking for the entire build or just the turbos, inlets and gaskets? with just the turbos installed you'll go faster but your turbo lag is ridiculous.

They're both overpriced. Just buy a set of K04s + plumbing from someplace like JHM, ECS, VAST, etc...

Then you can pick up a fueling kit, get in touch with 10secS4...he can get you some good injectors. Then do ECU, again, 10secS4 used to have some good prices, not sure if that's still the case.

I've been told that ko4's are just as prone to blowing as the ko3's, what do guys think and is there any advantage to using rs6 turbos. Im looking for horse power as well as reliability

well i have RS6 turbos, and i am peaking at about 25 psi of boost, which is well under their max output.. most k04 tunes run about 22 and then taper to 20 or so.. i think jason @ jhm is doing more than that.. but you have to have meth, a friggin exhaust with no restriction.. and then even at 24 psi the k04's taper cause they are running out of breath. i know my car pulls hard and no boost taper at all to redline, theres a guy on here running 32 psi with a built engine.. i have no regrets as far as going RS6's, but i dont know about K04's blowing, heck, i ran the crap outta my APR tuned K03's without a problem. i do know there is more turbo lag with the RS6's.. they come into full boost about 3900 with my setup.. but there at like 14 psi or so around 3000, and im not sure when k04's peak...
