My 05 S4 seems to understeer quite alot. any driving tips on how to drive quattro as compared to a RWD???

 

well it will understeer more than a rwd car.. that is given.. do some suspension upgrades particullarly a rear sway bar should get rid of that understeer.

Change the suspension, and put in a larger rear sway bar. It will help.

yes, you have to drive it totally different from a RWD car. Turn in sucks, so take a more
late apex, and pull in hard, the car will stick. Let the AWD pull you out of the corner, get on
the gas sooner. Slower in, much faster out, more speed drop on entry.

 

i find putting 4-6 psi more in the rear tires helps the rear end come around. or you could try a scandanavian flick if you're darring...

any suggestions on the power gains when using an performance filter??should i use pan filter or cone?? the cone filter tended to give me huge flat spots on my power delivery when using it on my golf....comments?

 

Trust me, you will be exiting way faster than an car. If you slow down a tad, enter the turn late, you can basically floor it through the turn.
