Default universal 02 sensor

I just bought one. I was bidding on e bay 4 one but the price went up over the price of a new one, crazy. Anyhow Amazon has them for 50 bucks. Plus i signed up for their visa and got it 30 dollars cheaper. **** a 02 sensor for 20 dollars I had to tell everyone about that.

ive heard the universal sensors don't read at the same ohm level as the audi one's.... so i think it throws check engine lights... hope it works for you

i read that you could use a deep socket 02 sensor socket. so i bought one of those, i havent tried it yet but this coming weekend im gonna take a stab at it. do you have a picture of this wrench you cut?

derek, im going to be using universal o2's too. other people on this forum suggested these bosch universal ones and they havent had any troubles. fingers crossed for sure tho

DUDE!!

OMG I did the same thing when I was a kid to change the O2 sensor on an old Chevy I had. Cut the wrench in half to get it down there. Went through like six hacksaw blades; darn forged steel.

Awesome.

bottlecap your 02 socket will work fine. But what i did is cut an old 7/8 open end wrench. made it like 3 inches long.

Use a saw zaw to cut it. abe i did the same thing. my arm was killin me.lol.
