Is there such a beast and if there is why is it that APR makes no chip for it. Second should I avoid the 2000 to 2001 model years? I heard they had some niggly problems.

Depends on what you want out of the car. The 2000 and 2001 models are dual turbos and can be tuned to around 450 hp! The newer S4's are V8's, and can't be tuned nearly as much.

 

I know that the b5 are 2.7liters biturbo but the 2002 is also, correct? I had heard that there were some problems with the early ones, this came from dahlback racing, and i wondered if that were true in this communities opinion. I want to know if there is a 2.7 litre 2003 S4. the tunability of these things is why i am interested in the first place.

S4 wasnt made in the states in 03, no model at all. The 2.7 biturbo stopped in 02, and the V8 continued the s4 line in 04.
