Default water/meth

i doubt ill ever install one, but i was curious. i did a little search and got a bunch of OT threads about beer pong and such haha

so i was reading up on water/meth kits and it said something about them basically making it like your running a higher octane with the methanol(and cooling everything down with the water), claiming a possible 120-like octane. so i was wondering, if i were to run a water/meth kit could i set my chip to a race fuel program and actually utilize the extra power?

let me know if this theory is completely retarded or not

For the most part. I am not sure if it is 120 or 110 or 103, but I know that I have seen HUGE intake temperature drops since I put in the Meth. The best part about it is the amount of timing you can throw at it. You still have to worry about putting in good Gas though (93 or the best sunoco 94)

You should be fine. If you are worried I would suggest logging it if you can do so or if you have a buddy to log it. If you do that take a look at the correction voltage and send it over to me if you need to. I'm currently using the VAST kit and its awesome.
