What to do in the Spring
Hello everyone,
Just a few questions as for what to do with the S4 in the spring. She will be going away for the winter but when I get it out I would like to do a few things.
1. Wheels and Tires
2. Suspension (car is sturdy enough I want to see it come down a bit though)
3. Exhaust
1a. As for wheels and tires Im kind of set on either b5 RS4 reps or BBS CH 18's with goodyear eagle F1's any other recomendations are welcomed
2a. Suspension- Do I need shocks and springs to lower the car a bit? I like the ride it has, I would just like it lower. But I also looked at the stasis tracksport package...fairly clueless to these things though. again. any help much appreciated. could I jsut get springs or do I need springs and shocks?
3a. I was looking for the UUC VM3 exhaust, but it looks as though it is no longer available. I also looked at GHL (my shop is a supplier) I want a nice exhaust that is close to stock but brings it out. kind of throaty. but FAR from ricey. a nice sound.
I also looked at just gutting my cats on the DPs...
Thank you all for any help.

oh god no on the eagle F1's!!!!!! never never never. I have every reason you need not to get them but just trust me on the simple no answer. Try pirelli's they are what I have. Stasis is very good, and yes both are preferred. Saying UUC brings back sad memories of stuff that they use to offer us Audi kind, yes I said use to. So that exhaust is out. Borla is probably one of the most talked about around. I miss UUC they had an awesome backlit shifter that i got from them....
Also may want to look into the Voglandt's from startupracing.com, theyre a good price and some say they handle like the expensive bilsteins.
I ran mich. pilot sports, good grip and lasted about 20k including some autoX events. My dad had F1's on his S4, there's nothing wrong with them, theyre just a bit expensive. I'm currently running toyo proxes 4s, they were cheap, they get the job done, and they look nice, no complaints.
for exhaust, try Milltek from Stratmosphere.com. Ive got the 3", but opted to delete the rear muffler and straight pipe it. It sounds real good, not real loud, and def. not ricey.
Unfortunately UUC stopped making Audi parts when the owner of the company got involved with bimmers, now (i believe) theyexclusively do bimmer/mini stuff
