Default Soda in the vent control buttons :(

Anyone have any suggestions on how to get my vent control buttons to stop sticking? The PO spilled soda on them, and they stick now that its getting cold. Ive tried spraying alcohol on them/around the seams, and it helped some, but it doesnt seem to be working anymore... they got better to a point, and thats it. Its irritating having to carry a spray bottle of alcohol in the car to squirt in there to free them up for a few minutes...

Use alcohol on Q-tips. Push each button in and clean around all of the edges. They should be good after about 3 or 4 cleanings.

The bozo lawyer that owned my car before me dumped a cup of coffee into the console of my car. My climate control buttons are now just finally coming unstuck. This is after repeatedly clicking them on and off temp up and down. I was so pissed when I figured out what was going on. I don't want to replace the control panel. It's got to be at least $300 or more.
