So my dad has a 2001 A4, and obviously the brakes are completely different. But the other day I put one of his wheels on to see if it'd fit, and it did! And he is always complaining about having to swerve around potholes to avoid bending his rims, 18" btw. So I told him I'd give him my stock S4 rims for his aftermarket ones. But my concern is what are other problems that I might have since our cars are different. Some of you talk about rolling fenders and using spacers. Would I just have to try and drive around to see if anything hits. I rolled around the back yard and nothing seemed to go wrong. Sorry but I'm still sort of new to my S, I've only had her since November. I also have a lowering kit on mine, but its not slammed. Any help is appreciated, thanks, Derek.

 

With 18' you are fine, no worries. Just to say, your dad didn't have to have any spacers did he, so neither will you. What kind are they?

 

Nope, no spacers. They are AZA wheels. Not the best quality but they look good. They have a big lip which I like. Polished.
