do you have aftermarket wheels?
What size tires do you have?

Depends on the offset of the rim. I made the mistake of getting rims with 35mm offset and they started rubbing with my 245s. Had to raise the car until I wear out these tires, then I'll get 235s and lower it back down. A lot of people roll their fenders but I've heard if not done right you can crack the paint. Not worth the risk IMO.

Correct you do run the risk of cracking the paint but as my paint was already chiped I went for it. Of course I'm lucky enough to have a friend with a fender roller so that made it a little easier.

Well if you are running aftermarket springs with stock shocks you might have blown a shock. Go to each corner of your car and press down on it to see how firm it is. If one corner feels not as firm that like where your problem is. Also when is the last time you had a alignment? My previous 97 Jetta VR6 would start rubbing in the front more when it would go out of alignment.
