I have an 01.5 with 116K miles and have done all of the maintaince at a local shop that specializes in European cars and it has been on time. i have diverter valves and a throttle body boot and it runs like a dream!

At 70K K03s blew. It cost me $7K to replace them. Luckily half of it was takin care by the warranty

wtf how come you blew urs at 70k???????? you shift at 6000rmp every single day?? and boost like a whole in last 70k?

I had a 2000 with 156k chiped for 56k and they never made a noise i know that they were stock turbos becuase i got the car off a very good friend and iknow the car well

I onlyreasen i sold it was to buy a 01.5 with 80k and i just put in k04 at 122k and they weremaking a little nose

lOL, well, diff people have diff way of driving. that's why I did this surveyrespectively. No one here blames anyone. SO peace...No mistakes to say anymore,it's your car, you blew itsoit's yourmoney tospend on fixing the problem lateron..

2001.5, 80K, stock, no problems. When and ifthey do eventually go, what's a reasonable price to have a shop throw in two K04s with no other mods (fueling)? Just to put a stronger turbo in but not pay the extra (for now) to go stage 3......

I just haid Avalon Motorsports do put in my k04 and with the motor out you might as well do a clutch and make suher the flywheel in lookin good I put in a euro speck S8 clutch it is pretty much the same thing as a RS4 clutchIthing it was$450with parts and labor i was right at $5500 oh they put in 034 race motor mounts witch were 150

Im at 115k and nothing but pure normal turbo whine.
