Default Would you pay more for a car with extended warranty?

I have a 2001 S4 with 49,000 miles.
I want to keep the car two more years, up to 72,000 miles

I can buy a 2 year, up to 72k miles extended warranty for about $2,000, and sell the car with no warranty
OR
I can buy a 3 year, up to 100k miles extended warranty for about $3,500, and transfer the remainder of the warranty to the new owner.

Would you pay $1,500 more for a 6 year old S4 with 72k with some warranty remaining?

is it the Audi assured warrenty or one of the aftermarket ones those aftermarket ones are not worth the paper they are wrighten on but the Audi assured is a nice one to have covers a lot of stuff and you just need to pay a $50 detuctable each time

It is the Gold Audi Assured Warranty good to 7 years or 100k miles (which is actually 3 years and 50k miles beyond the original warranty)

Did a little research online regarding warranties. My research suggested that Warrantydirect.com was the top of the line policy and had better rates than many dealer options. I am considering one for the car I am picking up this Saturday. I hope that helps.

Perhaps, but they do not offer warranty coverage on the 2001 S4.

This is not very conclusive...
Wish some of the 150 people who viewed the poll had voted...
