Default 2001 s4 no start after clutch

Hey guys, I hope im posting this in the right place.

So a buddy of mine had me do his clutch in his 2001 s4. New flywheel, new clutch, new fluids. Dropped it all fine. Put it all back together without any snags.

So I get it all back together and go to start it. it cranks and cranks and cranks but wont start.

He has a code reader in his door, I plug it in and p0321 is coming up. So I order a crankshaft position/speed sensor. Put that in today, still doesn't start but the code did go away.

At this point im at a loss. Looking for ideas of something I could have fucked up, or something that im just overlooking?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks
Casey

Your flywheel is most likely the incorrect part so the crank sensor isnt lined up properly to the trigger wheel on the flywheel... Would be my guess,.

you think incorrect part, or is it possible that the flywheel is not timed properly? ive read that they can only be bolted on one way because of offset holes, but also that some people manage to put them on wrong.. starting to think that's the problem.
