I know, I know... I promised pics. I took pics. But I'm entirely too lazy to load them into some pic website so I can link them... or to run them through some image shrinking site so they can be loaded. So, google the 25quattro S4, and that's what I got.

Anyway, for anyone who may stumble across this thread when thinking of purchasing their own V8S4:

I did a tune up last weekend, spark plugs, air filter, and oil change. She's running much better. Today, however, I lost the serpentine belt about 15 minutes from the house. Fortunately, the battery had enough juice to get me home.

A few hours later, and she's up and running again. Boy oh boy am I glad I can to my own wrenching.

Congrats and enjoy the new car! Sounds like you found a well maintained example.
