Default B5 S4 Cluster Warning lights and possible meanings

Hey. I have a 1st gen a4 and am planning to upgrade to an s4. It's a 2000, 6spd. The dealership is having a mechanic come in to fix some issues the vehicle has before they are even able to sell it. i have a hold on the vehicle and am planning to pick it up this upcoming saturday. My main concern is soke of these lights on the cluster. They ran codes and it doesnt explain the solid abs light or the blinking brake light, as well as the middle has a flickering digital picture of what looks like a temp reader/thermometer of sorts. If anyone could help me, id really appreciate it. Ive been looking for an s4 i can afford and save up for about 7 months now. A buddy of mine has an 01.5 nogaro blue stage 2 and i love the car. I just need to know what could be wrong so i can fix it if their mechanic can't. Thank you

In my B5 A4, the solid ABS with flashing Brake light meant the ABS module was bad. The brakes still work, but no anti-lock feature.

If you have a coolant level warning, and there is coolant in the tank, either the sensor is disconnected, or the sensor is bad.

Yes. I didnt know exactly. I figured it was the abs module, but there was no code so it could be that the cluster may be going bad? Whatever. Im still havibg it checked out. I priced a brand new one from factory for less than 600. The coolant though, idk... I wasnt too sure, tbh. I didny check it. When i test drove it i just kind of drove it. I didnt check mirrors, lights, none of that. I guess excitement got the best of me. Lol

The Check Engine Light (CEL) only shows codes for basic engine stuff with a generic reader. You need to use VAGCOM (VCDS I think it's called now) to access other modules like ABS, Airbags, etc.

Google Ross Tech.

And you can probably get the module fixed for about 150 instead of buying a new one.
