I've done countless hours of research and I can't find a recent post of a stage 3 high mileage s4. He wants to trade his stage 3 brilliant black for my b5 s4 nogaro shell gt28 turbos and my built block from 034. He is the 2nd owner and only put 200 miles on the car. It's a stage 3 with no aftermarket engine mods but its got a full rs4 stage 3 kit and a nymtm tune. Jus seeing how u guys are holding up stage 3. Yes I know maintenence is more important that miles but I had a immaculate stage 3 and it blew around 98k, possible ly a bad tune from vast but still I'm a little skeptical.... Let me know what you guys think and if u have had or had a stage 3 with high mileage please put me in a comfort zone of trading for this thing. Thanks guys take care,

mine is at 90xxx miles so far. i went stage 3 at around 75,xxx miles. it runs great. once i got all the boost leaks and vac leaks settled the only things that have given me trouble have been normal wear and tear items.(bushings, control arms,etc.) i am also very easy on the car. i dont really beat the **** out of it anymore.

i wouldnt touch someone elses stage three, especially if that person wasnt the one who installed the stage 3 upgrade. i sure as hell dont think your nogaro shell, gt28 kit and built block are worth it.

why not finish your build?

 

Thanks for the input domain, I can't finish the build because I'm 20 years old and jus recently got laid off my job so the finances aren't there right now and its a real struggle to have no car. I know for sure I can sell the kit and put a built motor k04 car together if i sell my turbo kit so I really want to Do that but at the same time I really need a car so im kind if stuck at the moment.

 

just buy another stock s4 and hold onto your engine. sell the kit and shell.
