What is best hookup for radar detector?
Is there a way to remove the dome light panel to tap into the electrical wiring?

I think the best install is spicing into the Dome Light panel wiring. There is a good video on the USP Motorsport site that explains installation of led light bulbs in the Dome Light panel. The panel is held in place by a Phillips screw in the sun glasses compartment.

You would never see it well with a flash light but it's near the latch in that compartment and you can feel it.

best hookup is the buying a bel stir plus with a blinder hp905 jammer. Have a shop do the installation unless you know alot about having an internal setup. i had the shop pull out my ashtray and cigarette lighter and put the digital display for the detector and on off switch for the jammer in there. they then mounted the controller right next to it. sweet setup and basically hidden from view.

if you went ahead and put the hammer down on an S5, you may as well step up to the latest and greatest radar detector/jammer combination out there.

after much research, the bel stir plus and hp905's is the ticket to not getting tickets. for extra protection, also download the waze app for your phone. with all three up and running, your minimizing your chances of being sited. not immune, but minimized.
