2014 S6 Fog Lights Question
Just picked up a new S6 a few days ago, and I'm new to Audi. I've owned //M cars for the last 10 years or so.
I've reviewed the manual, played with the controls, searched the internet, and yet I cannot seem to be able to turn on those dang fog lights that I'm looking at! I'm sure it will painfully obvious once it is pointed out to me (on the //M it was a button!), but I'd be grateful if someone could show me the way.
Beyond my fog light fogginess, I absolutely love this car (can can't wait to get through the break in period). The tech is beyond anything I've seen.
Anyway, thanks in advance for any sage advice.

I found my answer--they're not fog lights!
From Top Speed: "The other changes versus the A6 include the V8T badges on both front fenders and S6-exclusive psuedo-foglamps in the lower bumper region. While these look like projector foglights, they are actually the radar and camera arrays for the 2014’s active safety tech and night vision."

Thank you! This car is the first sedan, 4 dr, and non-sports car I've ever owned...ever. So it is a big change--a responsible one, now that I have 3 kids. As I drive it, I realize that I was ready for this too. But the car has made the transition an easy one. I just want to go drive!
I took my time making the section, test driving the M5, BMW X5M, and CTS-V. I was leaning toward the Caddy, which is quite awesome--ZR1 engine, but was so drawn by everything the S6 offers. The interior (and exterior) of the Audi smokes the Caddy in every regard.
Anyway, thanks for asking! I'd insert a pic, but can't figure that one out just yet.

Good luck with the 2015 S6! As much as I love the car, I have been pretty frustrated with the number of electrical glitches. It has been in the shop about 6 times in as many months. Currently, the passenger massager is not working--a repeat problem. Had the radio sound disappear, engine lights coming on then turning off, the protection braking is erratic, inconsistent key recognition--too many nits for a car this nice. Hope they ironed these issues out in the newer version.
