I am considering the purchsse of a 2003 Audi S8 with 150k miles. Any particular advice or items I need to especially pay close attention to. Any thoughts would be helpful.

 

Bought my '03 with 98K on it--now have 185K. I would be very careful of the transmission--they last almost exactly 150K. Cost me $1200 to get mine rebuilt. If this hasn't been done--it will happen on yours soon. No other sig problems--love this car! Good luck.

 

Did $1,200 include remove and re-install, or just the rebuild itself? Thanks!
