Default Charlotte NC Mechanics

Does anyone know any good places in Charlotte to take your car done for maintenance and repairs. There is only one Audi dealer in Charlotte and think they over charged me on top of thier rediculously overpriced labor rate of $106/hr

Also is there any good detailing shops in Charlotte? Preferably in south charlotte near the Ballantyne area.

i know of a good performance shop that is nationally respected that will provide maint.service as well as performance upgrades for your car if you care/want the option. i just had my ECU upgraded here and came to find out after talking with the salesperson (Danny) that they could have done my timing belt for $700 with everything (and you will know what "everything is when the time comes) opposed to the $1100 i paid at an alternative to the dealership Euro service shop. anyway the place is called GMP Inc. 710 Pressley Road Charlotte, NC 28718 Phone # is 704-525-0941

You may want to consider a mechanic in Asheboro (about an hour drive from Charlotte) that services my family's Euro cars...his name is Jeff Carriker. He runs his own shop in Asheboro, and he's very meticulous about what he does. He specializes in European makes, and a considerable amount of his work comes from Ferraris and Porsches, most of which are coming from Charlotte or Greensboro. With that, he's a bit more expensive than most mechanics out there, but you really do get what you pay for. He's worked on my TT several times, along with our two VW's. PM me if you want his number.
