Just to let you know, my friend bought a Charger SRT-8 for his wife, she took it to Gateway in STL and ran a 13.20 w/ the traction control on. Put it in drive, put it to the floor, and picked up the timeslip. I don't even know if they took out the spare and jack, or messed with tire pressure, ran it on a low tank of gas or what but I was like damn thats fast. I forget what the 60 ft. was but I think it was 2.0x or 2.1. He thinks with an exhaust and drag radials it'll hit the 12's.

A chipped 2.7t would get it's *** handed to it. Even from the launch. Well maybe a 6-speed could out launch the SRT-8. Even with traction control on for a weaker launch the SRT-8 will show a 2.7 it's tail lights. Now put some K04's on and get it tuned, the tables turn.

The srt-8s are a joke for the amount of power they have. My good friend Eugene has one and I have driven/riden in/ and raced him inmy car. I can pull him and have about 2 cars on him by 90, from about a 5mph roll(his advantage) and I am only running 13psi right now.

You don't need exhaust and DR's to get an SRT8 in the 12's. All you need is a good driver, good track-prep, and good conditions.

Before you take offense, I'm NOT dissing you or your or car, but............... look at the amount of mods you have to make your car be able to outrun one. Also, a 5mph roll, is NOT an SRT8's advantage. That SRT8 w/ just a tune, intake, and exhaust would eat your lunch. That's the SRT8's strong point. No, they aren't ungodly fast from the factory, they weigh 4,200~ lbs. But they have potential, and mods really wake them up. It's not hard at all to get an SRT8 into the low 12's.

But now that I tossed in my two cents, props to you and your car. That's pretty damn quick for an A4.

Those cars can't handel worth a lik though. The highway patrol has em here in NY and we run circles around em on the belt parkway with our bikes and even some of our cars. Can't even come clsoe 2 catchin us. They are purely straight line cars.

I have and the ones with the flashing lights have yet 2 catch my bikes. A far from stock WRX can keep me in sight for a minute or 2 on a twisty road when i got my 600 I4 on my V-twin 1000 maybe a minute but i've yet 2 have an SRT8 come close. My friend got a vid actually of us blowin past an undercover one on a twisty road, gotta find it.

I've never heard of Highway Patrol or Police to have SRT8's, just the RT's. And there's a HUGE difference. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they don't have SRT8 models.

And besides, I would sure as hell hope a motorcycle could dust one in the twisties. If not, the rider doesn't deserve a motorcycle......
