A4 vs Jetta
I never thought about modding a TDI Jetta, but...
My friend is into diesel big time, he has a dodge cummins he just put a bigger turbo on and added more fuel, that thing gets like 35 psi fo boost. I can't believe it. Feels like it can pull a house down. Too bad its a 3/4 ton truck that weighs almost 5000 lbs. He said you just give them more boost and more fuel and they make more power. You'd think in a gas engine too much fuel would run rich and lose power, but diesels love it. They don't spark since they have such high compression so the more air and more fuel you cram in the more power they make. Plus they are way detuned stock.
I think the TDI Jetta is like what 130 hp stock? I bet you can get it to 250 easily and cheap.

That is true for any engine.
And yeah, modded diesels are no joke. My friend's '04 F-250 Powerstroke 4wd would wipe the floor w/ my 350Z........
