Opinions would be much appreciated:

My buddy's little brother started running his mouth about his 1997 TA (convertible) <-----pu**y, that his mom is buying him nonetheless! He doesn't even have the car and is talking s**t to everyone and anyone that will listen. So he drunkenly challenges me to a race when he gets the car. It's mt, full exhaust, and possibly intake.

My performance mods include: GIAC-X, K04's, dv's, piggies, Milltek catback, s-flo intake, samco boost hoses, fully built Level 10 transmission. The tranny is bolted up and the car will be ready by this weekend.

Who do you all think has the upper hand from a dig up to 80? as well as from a roll up to 100?

yes, if you don't put about 4 cars every gear on him, it would surprise me. A buddy of mine has an awe stg III + s4 and he can hang with, maybe even slightly pull a z06....

 

yea a stock lt1 is only a mid 14 sec car with good driver high 13 with really good drivers.


but just as a warning to all here yes i understand the s4 is very fast with a stage 111 but there are some very inocent looking ls1's out there that are not to be played with. in the straights that is even a f-body with a lot of suspension work would have a hard time with a stock s4 when the road gets twisty

but looks like its time for a little mommas boy to learn a lesson in this race
