Default turbo timer s4

hey guys, i have a 2000 s4, modded pretty much as far as i can go with the stock ko3s. i desperately NEED to install a timer, because i know im ruining them more and more as time goes on. any suggestions? I looked into GReddy already, but i hear there is like this all in one alarm system/turbo timer... any input would be helpful.

Wrong section, but I'll help as much as I can. I'm not too familiar with Audi's electronics. I don't know of a turbo timer that has an alarm. Chances are you'll have to get the turbo timer and an aftermarket alarm. Just be sure to find someone who knows what they're talking about. Some alarms will not lock your car with the engine still on. I installed my turbo timer on the VR-4, one of the tricks I did was installing the power supply to the emergency brake light. I would recommend this. That way if anyone brakes into your car while the timer is on, the second they put down the e-brake the car turns off.

Why do you need a turbo timer? Just run your car a minute or so after you have a good hoon. Thats all the turbo timer does. Plus, if you drive normally with minimal boost for a few minutes before the end of your drive, you should not need one also. You only really need one for trackdays, or if you insist on hooning your car about, then stopping, and turning off the engine all of a sudden... Just my t'pence worth. I think they are a bit of a gimmick for lazy people!
