2001 a4 38 inch offset

I just bought a 2001 Audi a4 2.8 quattro. I put some different wheels on it and now has a 38 inch offset. what would be the best way to lower it without it rubbing and best ride, springs? or coilovers?

What width and diameter are the wheels?

they are 17x8 but they are dished deep so they are about equal or stick out a little from the fender
