Default Jetta H&R springs on A4?

I have a 99 A4 Quattro has the stock sport suspension with 235-35-19" rims and am using 8mm spacers.....I'm looking for a small drop. more in the front than the back so it's all even. I think the most I can do is 1.25 inches before to leave a little room to not rub.

I found some new H&R lowering springs for cheap locally that were for a 2003-2004 Jetta, anyone know if they would work on the A4? I would think a lot of parts do, but wasnt sure if the spring load is more/less on the A4. I was only considering it because of how low cost they were. If not, I'll just was a month and get some that are made for the A4.

Thoughts? anyone else ever use the springs from other makes/models on our cars?

Thanks,
