I have a 2009 A6 Avant, now at 175,000 miles. I got it at 80K, the previous owner had put on lowering springs with the stock dampers and they were pretty shot. I went with coilovers to maintain the lowered height. The ride is starting to deteriorate (with almost 90K on the coilovers that's reasonable) and I'm thinking of going closer to stock height. Our roads continue to get worse and my wife is starting to not enjoy riding if the ride is bumpy. I'm fine with trading off the slammed look and some handling for a better ride. I'm thinking trying to find either stock or near stock length springs and quality dampers. Any suggestions?
