96 A4 2.8, rides good, sits level. When I hit a bump the back of the car feels like it slides around and its like being in a controlled crash. It sends me off into other lanes if I am on a curve. I drive one hour one way to work everyday, and half of the drive is city construction. Not fun. I was in a rain storm last week and I am lucky I wasn't in a crash. The smallest water puddle had the wheels bouncing and jumping like crazy. Time to fix this. Question is, do I need to replace the struts?
If I do, my next question is do I need to buy a spring compressor? Struts is a whole new area for me, I came from a time of shocks, springs, and leaf springs, lol. This Audi is teaching me all sorts of new things in the garage.
