Help! Frame bent on convertible top
Hello, does anyone know if when replacing the top motors and flap components can the convertible top frame get bent? I have an 08 TT QUATTRO and I took it in to dealership because the top wouldn't close. They diagnosed it as a problem with the motors and the flap component (forgive me i forget the actual name of part and i dont have paper in front of me) they replaced all of that and top didnt close properly so they came to conclusion top frame is bent and to fix $12,000!!!! I about fell out of my chair. So I want to know if when they replaced those parts could they be responsible for the bent frame? Why didn't they know the frame was bent when diagnosing the problem? I never had a problem before with it not closing properly.
