I just realized that even if I did try to find a way to make it.........how much of a pain in the azzzz is it going to be to try to make sure I find 100 octane pumps throughout the trip. [:@]

i am pretty sure im up and ready for this trip. i think me and my friend sean are gonna be rooming together. hes got a 2003 a4 with new painted lowers and S4 rims...oooo...aahhhhhh. and hopefullly theres rooms still available...if not his mom might be able to get a deal at the local marriot if worse comes to worse

and hopppppefully (fingers crossed) im gonna be chipped for this trip

Is your friend from Sd also? if they're all wanting to meet at 9ish, we'll probably leave around 8 or lil bit earlier. you should book your room ASAP!!!!!


oh yeah, quick story...... driving home from work, there was a pimped out scion tc ( with exhaust, carbon fiber hood, body kit, rims, tint, multicolor paint job, looked like a show car)tailgating me, i wasn't even speeding, i was doing 55mph getting onto the freeway, and i thought to myself, if this guy's got a turbo. i'd like to see how it does againt mine......so i down shifted, but accidently shifted to 4th instead of 3rd, but even so, i was pulling away, 90, 100, 110, 120, 125 mph, i was pulling away lil by lil, but not much, but the fact that was flooring as hard as i was, he still kinda kept up, by the time i hit 140, i was ahead of him by maybe70-80 yards. then he flashed me and i slowed down, i think he maxed out by 130mph, iwaited for him to pass me and gave a thumbs up.

so after all that, i'm pretty sure he's got a turbo kit underneath that hood andwas probably pushing 220-240bhp, considering stock is only 160hp. it's fun to kill rice rockets once in a while. that guy was probably thinking "Shiat, i spent $15,000 on my car and STILL can't beat a damn 2.0L Audi?"

well, that was my entertainment for the day, anyone got ne run-ins lately?

 

i bet he has a TRD super charger which bumps it to 200bhp
but there are some turbokits that make the car 300bhp

LOL thats a great story nam. I new a guy in highschool who never worked a day in his life and his parents boughta sciontc with the superchargerfor him and he was ruthelessly beat by my friends tiburon. not exactly a fairrace but the guy was an ultimate poser and its always fun givin it to them. on the note of scion's, i always get a real kick when guys inXa's and Xb's revby me, all 105 magical hp lol.

 

arghhh, the scions. Funny little things. Always wanting to show us up.
