Scion also known as "Toasters" When ever i see one of those things I am just waiting for some warm toasted bread to pop out the top of those things. I get a good laugh out of it. it's almost time for the trip I was going to book my room today but I lost my credit card so.....i am lost but not out. I'll report later with the status.

BTW, I had a nice run-in on the way home tonight with a car that I've been desparately waiting to race. I'm driving up some winding roads on Western by my house and I notice a BMW with new tags on the front pop in behind me. Well, not to let my German Brethren down, I floored it and took him through the turns up to 90mph. He fell back, but caught up pretty quickly. We ran it hard a couple times before we came to a light and turned opposite directions. I then noticed that he had a spankin new 335i.[:-] I'm wondering how hard he was hitting it with me? Probably still holding back with it being new and all, but had to have some fun with the little Audi?

I didn't get a wave, smile, or finger from that guy. LOL

I work in the IT dept for a major mortgage company and just got bought out by Citigroup. As per our CEO, there WILL be lay offs. We're just playing the waiting game at work right now, I hope there's a severance package when it does happen.

On a lighter note, I have booked a room at the same hotel. I called and spoke with Mike, he went ahead and gave me a AAA discount even though I don't have a membership. I'll be heading out on Friday with gf and the pup, staying there through Sunday...cya guys there

 

Hey Guys.......... i got "possible" bad news, might has to work that saturday the 24th........ don't know for sure yet, butthey're understaffed right now, ifthey don't get a new hire within the next few days, i'll have to work, but i can't give you a final word yet, i should know for sure by this Friday.... but it doesn't look good.. sorry Cheng, you might have to find a new roomie..... you'll be the first to know by the weekend.

count me out, didn't realize i have a game against ucsd that afternoon [:'(]. Something always comes up at the last minute that keeps me away from the gtg

Also on a side note to everyone else I think I have a CV joint going sideways on me. I'm checking it out this weekend. I'll have more info on Monday. I just hope I don't have to use my trip money on a new CV axle/joint or something like that.
