Default p-flow installing!!

hey guys! im just about to install my neuspeed p-flow intake tomorrow or the day after. To be honest, its my first time installing any aftermarket part on to a car... so i wanna be careful with my A3 2.0T. So i was just wondering if there's anything i should know before i start screwing with my car? btw... would it affect my warranty? (got mine baby from Mission Viejo)

thanks guys

Affecting the warranty is a touchy subject. It all depends on the dealer. Most likely with just intake you will be fine. definitely be careful taking the engine cover off. Pull it up corner by corner and don't be afraid to pull hard, just go by the corners. You also want to leave the factory heat shield installed. I made the mistake of thinking it had to come off. I was bangin away at it like crazy, finally I realized the NSPD heat shield installs right on top of the OEM. Then also cover up your turbo intake when its open, you definitely don't want anything to jump in there. You never know where a screw will bounce into. Good luck. Let me know how you like it. The sound is awesome.

isn't the p-flow just a filter attached to the MAFwith a 'heatshield' attached to it? no piping needed for the p-flow?

pflow is a CAI very similar to the evoms vflow. Heat shield is loose in the box. Filter and intake tube that replaces oem intake all the way to the turbo. The neuspeed site shows u what it looks like. I'd post the link but I'm out and about on the phone.
