looking to replace my wheels due to some cracks.
I am thinking of going with 17 inch on front and 18 inch on rear.
Car came with 17 inch from factory.What do you think of going with a bigger wheel in rear.My local wheel store andvised not to change in size.Any feed back would be great.

 

oh my. please tell me you are joking? you do realize these cars are AWD? so by you doing that, it is like putting the little dont go over 50 mph donut on the front of a front wheel drive car.

 

When changing to new wheels/tires a minor change in the diameter or circumfrence isn't a problem as long as all 4 are EXACTLY the same!

 

yeah i guess he could compensate with tire size but..

 

I think will stay with 17 inch .The tires that came ont the car are in good shape...Now been looking for some chrome wheels for a cheaper price.The problem I find is the 01 a6 4.2 calapiers are so big not any cheaper wheels will fit.. anybody found any?

 

What is your price range? You can find a set of used wheels for as little as 500.. a decent set of used for 7-800ish and new wheels for around the 1k mark, Depending on what you want you can find them brand new for 600 and up from wheelmax.com

looking at tire rack at the Bremmer Kraft wheels bro5 my son likes the black look.Wounder if they will clear the calipers?
