Default Need Wheel fitment help using adapter

Ive been looking at buying a set of 2.1 varrstoen rims for my Audi a4 b5 however Im gonna need to use a 1 1/2 inch wheel adapter since it's a 114 bolt pattern rim. My question is with using an adapter how do I calculate my offset? My rim specs are 18x9.5 but I don't know if I should get 30 22 15 12 0 offset and have the nice flush maybe alittle poke look. Can someone help me because using a wheel adapter throws me off.

1 1/2 inch adapter will throw u into negative offset even starting with +30 offset wheel. Use wobble bolts not adapters
