Hey guys, well, i never thought i would be posting under such pretenses, but i got in a little fender bender...

I rear ended this guy at like 10 mph, his bumper has a few stress marks and is popped off the mounting bracket, im trying to go out of insurance.

The front of my car has some worse damage, pics below...

a dent in the hood, the hood is popped up like half an inch from where its supposed to be, and my freshly painted front bumper (and whole front end for that matter) has some mad scratches and a farily large dent...
i'm pissed and sad at the same time

oh yea, and one more thing, my ABS didnt kick in, the light had been on for a while, but the mechanic said that it was just a loose wire.

any help as to holes in the system, or thing i can do to lessen the load on my wallet would help...

Man this is the 3rd or 4th accident on these forums this week. I feel bad! I cant help you as far as ways to help reduce the amount you gotta spend or with any loopholes. Sorry tho..

u kno you can just search junk/salavage yards and classifieds for a used hood
and i think u can just shave, bondle and repaint the bumper

and just get an after martket grill

 

Sounds like your mechanic is an idiot. The ABS shuts off if there is an error in the system (light) afaik.
