Default finished the little bit of work on the TT

got some info from some AudiWorld members. check them out good site too. there was a blue spring and 1 shim so i put 2 shims and the green spring in put everthing back together and took it for a test drive. feels much more linear and boost is felt almost immediately. having a lot of fun with this baby!

I have heard of people shimming the stock DV with washers.... won't this accomplish the same thing?

I want to keep the stock DV because I'm going for a boost machine soon...

Why would you want to keep the stock DV with the Boost machine. Most stock DV's won't hold the boost as well as the aftermarket ones.

i've done some research about the boost machines from Modshack and they work best with OEM N75 valve not the OEM DV.

Yea its true that the boost machine works best with the stock N75 valve, but if you keep the stock DV there is a good chance that the plastic valve on the inside of it will wear out quickly under higher than normal boost. Just a heads up racer_x.
