the car seems to be hunting at idle, has anyone came across this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd take it to a place you can trust and have them check your fuel system and fuel lines for any water that may be in their lurking. The guy was able to air it out for about a day and now it runs nice and smooth. I have an Audi 80 and that was my problem, had a nasty idle sound like there were some Gremlins in there.
