Audi 80 rear light probs
Hi everyone,
I hope at least one of you can help/advise what to do.
Yesterday some stupid woman in a 4x4 nudged me from behind [:@] after a quick inspection of my car, I foolishly said, 'don't worry, no damage' and off I went. Now today my rear lights are not working. To be more specific, the lights on the tailgate/bootlid are not working, the rearlights and brake lights are.
So my question to you is, what would have stopped the lights (fogs, reverse) working? I have checked the fuses and bulbs, all OK, but was wondering if there is another connection that may have been disconnected, if so where is it as I can not see anything obvious?
Thanks in advance.

RE: Audi 80 rear light probs
I really need your guys help, please.
I have checked all obvious connections, wiring, fuses, bulbs, switches everything. The car has even been at my local mechanic for the last few days and he can't find anything wrong. He has now suggested taking the car to a speacialist auto-electrician but they cost a small fortune, have been quoted £140 minimum just to look at the car
Has anyone on here got an idea where the problem could be? I really don't want to get rid of the car but the cost of repair could well be more than the car is worth at this rate.
