Default Engine Change-out

My 93 100S has 194000 miles on it... but runs just fine... with some peeves but fine... I think I need a new exhaust and there is some oil leakage around the mounting with the tranny, I maintain constant checks on the levels so that I wont run down, but I think that there may be a engine change needed in the perhaps near future, well maybe not, but whenever I can doit. I was thinking in modifing it where I can put a W8 in it, that would be just what the doc ordered, but what are some of your thoughts...

In theory it can probably be done, in reality it's one job you will be sorry. Doing an engine swap on a FWD is not the same as changing a 4-banger for a big block 460 one a Mustang. The FWD is a lot more complicated due to limited space, associated electronics, emissions, steering geometry and drivetrain. To get it accomplished you will need to do a lot of fabrication of $$$ parts.

Well, the W8 is not needed, just something that I would like, but I could change out with another 2.8LV6 right?
