Default Memory buttons for seat positioning

This is a quick super basic question to any of you senior members. My 02 didn't come with the manual so I've been scouring the internet for basic info. Do any of you know how to use the buttons on the door to save seat positions for different drivers? Thanks for the help.

Set the seat/steering wheel and outside mirrors to your liking.Hold down the M button at the same time as a number position for at least 1 second and release

Thanks a lot. I know that was a newbie question, but there were too many possible permutations to pushing those buttons so I figured I'd turn to you guys. Awesome, now I can let my wife drive too.

I can't remember exactly how to save different positions, but I'll check my manual and post for you.

Thank you. I appreciate the help. I honestly did not want my wife to drive it (she's about 5" taller) until I figured it out.

motomonkey,
If you have more than one key to the car you might also want to assign different keys to each recall button for the seat/mirror position.

Here's how you'd do it:
1. Make sure the "STOP" button is depressed
2. Press and hold the recall button for the setting you'd want to associate with the key, wait until the seat/mirrors are in position and release the button.
3. Press and hold the same button again while pressing and holding the unlock button on the key. Release the recall button after 2 seconds.

Now, just repeat the above steps for a different key/recall button and you'd automatically get your setting when unlocking the car with your key.

Have fun
